Overflowing With Hope
 Dear Friends of Growth in Faith,
It is my pleasure to invite you to join us at the 32nd Growth in Faith women’s retreat to be held Saturday, February 26, 2011, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Largo, Florida. This will be a retreat to change your life and restore your hope in God’s unfailing love for you.
We are delighted to have Sheri Rose Shepherd as our speaker for 2011. My daughter gave me one of her books, His Princess; Love Letters from Your King, and I have used it daily since.
Sheri Rose is a woman who can relate to almost any woman’s battle. This former Mrs. United States grew up in a dysfunctional home and was severely overweight as a teen. As a young woman she battled depression and an eating disorder. She understands the pain that comes from a broken home and knows what it means to fight for freedom from the past.
In spite of a learning disorder, dyslexia, Sheri Rose (in God’s strength) has become a bestselling author with her book His Princess selling over one million copies. Her speaking style is humorous, heartwarming, and inspirational.
Our worship leader and soloist, Melodie Griffin, is a Christian recording artist and worship leader for events across the country. Her music has touched me deeply as she has the unique ability to use words and music to portray a powerful message of hope and encouragement. She has shared the stage with such speakers as Beth Moore, Liz Curtis Higgs, and Stormie OMartian.
The board and I are looking forward to fellowshipping with you again at this retreat. It is encouraging to us to hear your testimonials about how God is working in your life. May God richly and continuously bless you as He works out His purpose for you.
